Dallas, Texas Mini Thrift Haul
Recently, I went to a conference in Dallas, Texas. True to form, I scouted out a Goodwill thrift store and paid them a visit. The Goodwill retail that I visited was located on 3020 N. Westmoreland Rd. The store was a nice size with a good layout. The selection was so-so. I’ve seen worse and better. I was able to find a Natorious silk blouse, a Harve´ Benard blouse, a cute black satin cut-out blouse, and a Bohemian-style skirt all for less than $20. All of these items were added to my personal wardrobe, not put up for sale on my online thrift store.
Natorious, not to be Confused with Notorious
This is the Asian-themed Natorious blouse by Natori that I got for $3.99. This is the second Asian-themed silk blouse that I’ve found within a month. I’m on a roll. I love the height of the collar and the cap sleeves. Worn with a pair of dangling earrings and an up-do, it’s a winner all day long!
This is the satin blouse that I found. It falls away from the body for a more flattering fit for women with a little something extra in the tummy-area. I love the pleats and rosettes at the neckline. It makes it very feminine and dainty.
XXZ Black Satin Cut-out Blouse
This is a blouse by a brand that I’ve never heard of, XXZ. What attracted me to the blouse was the intricate design on the front and the details and scalloping on the sleeves and hem. It has a Mexican look and is very lightweight. I plan to pump it up with a pair of fitted, ripped jeans, and some heels.
Last and least thrilling of my mini haul is this gray ankle-length skirt. I’m starting to pick these types of skirts up whenever I run across them, because I want to incorporate more of the Bohemian look into my wardrobe. Plus, skirts like these are cool in the Summer, and I’m going to need all of the help that I can get to weather this upcoming Southeast Georgia Summer.
