Get to Know Me

I am a 30-something Georgia born and raised, wife, mother, kindergarten teacher, entrepreneur, blogger, antique lover, thrift store junky, diy’er,  and technology advocate. I am a graduate of Fort Valley State University, a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and a current graduate student of the instructional technology program at Georgia Southern University. I am a non-conformist, a dreamer, a doer, a die-hard bargain shopper, and a type-A personality who will correct your grammar without batting an eye! Lol! I have loved to write and create ever since elementary school, and loved to thrift since high school.

What is this blog about?

  • my thrift store finds
  • my side-hustle journey
  • sweet deals
  • natural hair
  • living life on my own terms

Who is this site for?

It is for women who aspire to be more, to do more. It is for real women who are wives, mothers, employees, dreamers, and hustlers. It is for you, in hopes that this site encourages you to move one step further into your potential…the way that others have sometimes unknowingly encouraged me to move into mine.

Come…walk

Take the journey with me from employee to full-time girl boss. This is the year of my come up; in my thinking and in my bank account! I welcome you to walk with me on my journey to financial independence and total freedom. How will I get there? With little more than a few bags of thrifted clothes, an Ebay store, dedication, and a vision!
