Mac Cosmetics for the Low
I’m not a big makeup wearer. Give me some lipstick and mascara, and I’m good. I love lipstick! When I do opt to wear and purchase makeup, most of the time it’s Mac cosmetics. A while back I signed up for Mac’s emailing list, and I was rewarded with a free
birthday anniversary gift. If there is one thing that you need to know about me, it’s that I have a gift for finding ways to make almost any deal or purchase even sweeter. That is how I got these cosmetics for less than $15.
Let Me Break it Down for You
It started with this email.
I knew that as a subscriber of their email list, I would get free shipping and a free sample of my choosing with my order, so I took the bait. The only catch to the deal was that you had to make a purchase, so I found the cheapest product of interest and threw it in the cart. Once I was ready to checkout, I chose my sample and submitted my order. I wasn’t even on my “A” game that day. Had I not but I forgotten to use my Ebates, I would have gotten 3% back. I know it’s not much, but it all adds up in a monthly rebate check. I’m still a little bitter about that! Why I Love Bargain Shopping
The Patentpolish Lip Pencil is normally $21, I got it for free. The Huggable Lipcolour was marked down from $21 to $12.60, and the sample of perfume and the Shadescents Accordian were also free. I guess that I originally signed up on the email list in the month of May, because Mac said it was my anniversary. It worked out in my favor because May is also my birth month. Rise up, Taurus women!!
