Cole Haan: Unnoticed in the Bin
I went down to the bins in Jacksonville, Florida to do a little sourcing for my online thrift store. Yes, the ones where the people act like vultures fighting for a meal! The first thing that I saw laying in the bins, was this Cole Haan leather jacket. I was thinking to myself, “Seriously?!” People were standing around waiting for the next set of bins to be brought out while poor ole’ Cole was languishing in the bins. It wouldn’t have been the first time that the flea market vultures passed over something of value for worthless junk. Check out this post to see what I mean. Well come to find out, ole’ Cole wasn’t the real thing. He turned out to be polyurethane instead of leather, but I bought him anyway because he looked so darn good!
Starbucks & Other Random Stuff
I ended up finding a few random pieces on this haul. Like a Starbucks tumbler, a vintage Disney coffee mug, bikini tops, and stainless steel measuring cups kinda random. I hardly found any clothing. The bins can be sooo random sometimes. You never know what you’re going to get, and that is what I love about them!
These are just a few of my finds from that day. I didn’t photograph them the same day because, who has time for that?! You can watch the video through this link or watch up at the top for the full rundown of what was in my buggy.
